With dual master’s degrees in Multicultural/School Counseling (University of New Orleans) and Performance Arts (American University), Nina offers a distinctive approach that blends therapeutic approaches with creative, body-centered practices.
Nina’s extensive training includes Somatic-Based EMDR, an adaptation of the traditional EMDR approach, that incorporates mindful attention to the body and nervous system while processing trauma, helping release held physical tension and emotional responses more deeply than traditional EMDR alone) along with Mindfulness and Meditation practices, and other body-mind approaches. Nina fosters a therapeutic space where clients can safely explore their challenges, enhance resilience, and discover a renewed sense of hope.
